FREEDOM // poem by Madhu Mehrotra
I, a free spirit
Left the heavens
for freedom
Tied to body
I left the womb
for freedom
Nurtured by parents
I left the family
for freedom
Tethered to an organization
I left the job
for freedom
Purchased an A I watch
To have time
for freedom
Monitored by the device
I search
for freedom.
Madhu Mehrotra has lived her life in the hills. A flash in eternity, now here now gone
