DAUGHTER ( Poetry by Tanimonure Richards Adewale)

 DAUGHTER

in you and your womb
i bury my all,
resting my sweats and tears
in peace of your joy.

i go down a man
wearing fool as a dress;
beautiful wound of scorns
stitched with sweet hatred.

i become a grave
of your past wildfires;
lone cold living bed
breathing your happiest sky.

may you be the seed
of my scouting scrotum
from my faithful grave
inside a true beloved.

may you be the fruit
loud proud of a wisdom
worn as great foolishness
of you and your dear mum
